Behavior Modification

Our teams offers behavior modification,  to get owners inside their dog’s head to see what the dog considers to be a good reason to behave in a manner humans sometimes do not understand and would interpret as "bad".  . We explain the parameters of the dog world, and the reward system: what your pet sees as a reward and what you may see as a reward often varies.

We will map out a strategy for you to go by, making it easy to get disired results.   Behavioral modification classes are offered by appointment, which we base on the need of the pet and the owner. We also arrange to work at the best location for you and your pet.

Obedience Classes

Whether your need is to instill the basic behaviors early or to teach an old dog new tricks, our obedience classes have you covered. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced level training. Our intermediate and advanced classes are available in three levels, and each program focuses on the basic puppy behaviors in beginner, including jumping, mouthing, chewing, pulling, etc, to basic commands, consistancy, reliaibility, in Intermediate level 1, and move towards distance training, body language and verbal cues, phasing out food rewards, and learning to trust what we have taught.  Moving on up the scale, we get what we call "edgy"...  Our goal is to be able to work off leash with total focus...  Anyone game?  The dogs get it! , ,

Obedience classes start at 14 weeks. We do mix the groupings of dogs, according to the level of training. The class meets once per week for an hour and lessons start at $35. Customers train their dogs for various reasons, including obedience, companionship, and Competition Assistance. 

Private Classes

Based on your problems, we do offer private classes for owners and pets. We suggest you always do a private session first to equip you and your dog with a couple of necessary manners so that you can enjoy the class and be able to listen.  We can supply you with behavior modification programs for normal puppy behavior, jumping, overexcited dogs etc. . Our goal for Our teams also help with other issues, such as:

• Rushing to the Door

• Mouthing

• Come When Called

• Territorial Guarding, etc.

 

 

 

Dogs in training appear to be strongly influenced by a learning set.  The may be slow in consistancy in early stage of training, but with the benefit of experience, however, dogs appear to learn later exercises much quicker and efficiently -- that is, "they learn to learn..."  

The location of training is determined based on the needs of your pet. If you are having problems at home, then we will conduct the training at your house. Cost of travel to the location where you're encountering issues will be determined by the mileage.

Potty Training

We explain the digestive tract of a dog and how it’s differ's from a human. . Once you understand the complexities and the differences, potty training is a snap. The potty training and nutrition classes are a one-time offer and last for an hour and a half. 

We also teach you about taking care of your dog, nails, ears, grooming, etc.   We offer solutions to expensive products and hook you up with some awesome Holistic websites to take care of any need you might have.  

The class is available for a one-time fee of $45 and the entire family is included.  Most effective if you do the class before you bring the dog home, but after is never too late.
